Where to start writing something

I have been writing blog for many years, like 10 years. now the blog era is gone, what a wonderful time. now my blog is not only outdated, and also exposed a lot of bugs, along with the day to day chores, I lost the willingness of writing.

But, it is still beneficial to keep writing as a habit, if I don’t write ideas down, it will pass away, and I will forget new ideas Forever!. we wandering in twitter, facebook and buzznews, all of these social media will only erode our mind. Waste time on arguing with strangers.

To resume the writing, I need a new “blog”.

1)I can buy a cloud VM, a domain name, setup my own blog engine, or use Nodejs to hand make a blog application for my own sake. the good part is I control everything, the hard part is I need to do everything.

2)Use Github as my blog. the nice side of using github as your blog is that you can use git to manage your work, and control version. However, github is a place for coding, you can publish something, but it is not designed for publishing text writings.

3)Use medium, as I am doing now. it is clean, easy to get start, and I want the side comments function. if anything is useful, it will be comment. if anything is wrong, it will be picked out.

Every time time when I was reading a book, I always want to comment the parts I am reading instead of leaving comment at the end of a chapter or shooting a mail to the author.

This time, hope it works well. if you accidentally read this piece of resolution, let’s see how far I will go.

See you next time.
