Lots of people guessing why a productive tool company want to buy a such a toy, childish and nonsensical App. Microsoft want to use TikTok as a channel to sell Microsoft 365? Want to create a TikTok for Business and profit more? Want to expand its market to Social Media and counter the competition from Facebook and Google? Want to save TikTok from the ban?

But I feel all the above list may only partly true, here must be some other reasons.

The smile of Mona Lisa

Leonardo Da Vinci finished the painting around 1519, but not as valuable as today until 1911. What happened after that?

The Mona Lisa

In the August of 1911, the painting was stolen. The Louvre was closed for a whole week for investigation. The true thief Vincenzo Peruggia, who was an Italian and believe the painting should be hold in a Italian museum. He kept the painting in his apartment for two years, impatience grew and attempt to sell it, and got arrest.

During the two missing years, new emerging newspapers covered this event. so many famous persons were suspected, so many stories were made up. Imagine, even today, if a event can be discussed for two years, everybody knows, and everyone remember the painting.
