The next Trillion company

Today, among a causal chat, one of my colleague shows me her recent experience in Shengzhen, China. robots are now severing customer/Tenant now. I searched a bit, and found some reports around like this one.

I just moved to US for several months and still amazed how fast things are going on in China. everything is evolving so fast, especially in the tech areas.

20 years ago, everyone need Windows, Microsoft becomes a Trillion company. 10 years ago, everyone need a cellphone, Apple reborn from the dead. who will be the next?

Let’s see why Microsoft and Apple can be the Trillion level company. they share the following common properties:

• Everyone live in the earth needs the product
• The company involve the whole industry
• The company is the center of value network
• Extremely hard to be replaced by a new startups or new comers

And I won’t be surprised if the next trillion company is a Robot producing company. why.

1. Everyone will need one or two robots at home, when the robot can clean your home, mow your lawn, wash your car, control the air condition, and even help prepare your breakfast.
2. The robot company will involve the whole tech industry to produce robots. CPU, motor, camera, sensor, speaker, etc.
3. There will be an application store for the common robot, install an Application, then the robot will have the capability…
